Hand-dyed: Lapis Cabochons
This is a beautifully hand-dyed yarn. Unfortunately, the monitor does not show off the depth of the turquoise blue and the lovely purple. The name, Lapis Cabochons, comes from a jewel that the Egyptians used in their jewelry. 100% worsted weight wool. 200 yards/3.5 ounces. Would work up well in hats, mittens, gloves, heavy boot socks, and vests. I don't feel that it is soft enough for scarves, shawls, cowls or sweaters. Hand wash separately in cold water, lay flat to dry.
